A large portion of our young generation gets addicted to smoking though it has craziness in every age. This craziness is increasing with time. Smokers get trapped in a cycle of addiction knowingly or unknowingly understanding the effect of it. To experience the addiction, take a new risk, or having a misconception act as some of the influencers of smoking. Finally, smokers drag unwanted chemicals into the body. These chemicals severely affect the lungs, cardiovascular system, immune system, reproductive system, kidneys, nervous system, and even skin cells.

Effect on lungs

You can find a notable difference between healthy lungs and a smoker’s lung. Tobacco effects the lungs and airways. As a result, smoker’s lungs change in the short and long term.

Quitting smoking heals this effect that will prevent long-term trouble by decreasing short-term results. Lung capacity will increase and improve breathing within some days.

Effect on the cardiovascular system

Smoking can permanently damage the heart and blood vessels by thickening the walls and forming clots inside veins and arteries.
When tobacco stops arriving in the heart, blood circulation will improve, and several heart diseases can decrease.
Do you know what will be the benefit to a smoker who suffers from heart disease? Quitting smoking will reduce the sudden heart attack risk and decrease the possibility of other chronic diseases.

Effects on the immune system

Are you blessed with a healthy immune system? It is a blessing, though many of us destroy this system by pretending not to know or not care about the result.
Smoking damages the natural system as they deliver unwanted chemicals to the immune system.

If a smoker quits smoking, the immune system tries to heal and strengthen its power back to the prior capability.

Effect on the reproductive system

Smoke decreases women’s natural reproduction system. Smoker women suffer in pregnancy as this speeds up the loss rate of eggs. If they get pregnant, there will high risk of miscarriage. Again several chemicals can interfere in fetal development resulting in several complications in newborns.
Not only women, but also men’s reproductive system can also be affected because of smoking. Tobacco impacts sperm health as well as sperm count. If you quit smoking, no doubt you will get rid of risk factors associated with infertility that originates from tobacco.

Stop smoking today if you don’t want to act like a killer to your future generations.

Affect on kidneys

Blood pressure can go out of control. Tobacco narrows the blood vessels that result in kidney failure. The terrible truth is that smoking can affect medicines used to treat high blood pressure. For a smoker who suffers from kidney disease, smoking can make kidney disease worse.
Quit smoking to get relief from sudden kidney failure due to tobacco.

Affect on the nervous system

Nicotine creates an immediate sense of relaxation due to the increased level of serotonin in the brain. So people smoke in the belief that it reduces stress and anxiety. This feeling is short-lived because nicotine breaks down and is expelled within a short time. And the result is restlessness, anxiety, frustration, anger, and even insomnia. Smokers’ brains get used to nicotine’s effect, and each time more nicotine is needed than previously.
Quitting smoking helps the nervous system by normalizing nicotine receptors. And finally, smokers can get relief from the cycle of addiction.

Affect on Skin

Skin cells get a deficiency of oxygen and nutrients as a result of smoking. Smokers’ skin loses shine and can develop several skin disorders in the long term.

Quitting smoking will help to improve skin elasticity day by day.
Despite all of this, Tobacco also contributes to damage to teeth, scalps, and even on hair.

No doubt smoking is nothing but a suicide attempt. Quitting smoking is the first step towards getting relief from all of its harmful effects.
