Some feel smoking is just a habit for enjoying loneliness where some take it as a constant part of life. No matter how it contributes to feelings it will keep its signature on the body and mind because of its destructive power.

To reveal the dangerous part of smoking that is named also as cigarettes is the goal of these writings.

Cigarettes have some basic components which are tobacco, chemical additives, a filter, and paper wrapping. Besides this, there are approximately 600 ingredients in cigarettes. When burned, cigarettes create more than 7,000 chemicals. At least 69 of these chemicals are known to cause cancer, and many are toxic. Some of these chemicals can be obtained from consumer products also but on warning labels.

When anyone lit a cigarette the chemicals are released in the form of small particles and gases. The chemicals reach the inner of the smoker’s mouth through a filter. But the filter can trap bits of partially burnt tobacco, not all of them.

Tar, the other name of tobacco, arrives in the vocal cord and its reaction falls.

It makes people cough automatically with irritating feelings. Then smoke takes preparation to attack the deeper and important part of the body and that is the lung.

The airways of the lung are lined with tiny brush-like hairs, called cilia. Cilia sweep out mucus and dirt to keep clear lungs. The cilia are paralyzed when tar works with hydrogen cyanide, a poisonous gas. Now the paralyzed cilia can’t prevent any bacteria or debris. So it’s time to go further for cigarette smoke.

Smoke goes to the deepest part of the lung without any obstacles. The part is alveoli or the air sacs of the lung. Generally Lungs and blood exchange oxygen and carbon dioxide during the process of breathing in and breathing out in the alveoli. But when carbon monoxide reaches this part, It knocks off oxygen and instead takes its place. And the body can’t get enough oxygen. Carbon monoxide is a dangerous and poisonous gas that easily gets into the body through smoking. Whenever body cells feel any lack of oxygen it sends signals to the lungs to do something for increasing oxygen distribution. As a result, lungs produce mucus that narrows the airways and now it is more difficult to breathe.

The prevailing chemicals of smoking are also put in their own way by absorbing in the bloodstream and there is no limit of damage. It narrows the blood vessels and blocks the supply of oxygen from the heart and brain. After starving the lack of oxygen the part of the heart muscles and brain tissues can die. When any part of heart attack or a myocardial infarction and death. Death of the brain tissue can lead to a stroke and even to permanent disability. Some chemicals are the reason for skin cancer, liver cancer, kidney cancer, etc.

Fumes released from cigarettes add toxic air to the atmosphere. The remaining butts contain different toxic chemicals in soil and waterways. Thus smoking effects in nature that result in climate change.

A non-smoker’s lung can be affected as like as a smoker. The reason is secondhand smoke that has the power. Again it can harm immediately an asthma child

Smoking doesn’t kill immediately or no one says if you smoke you will die. But definitely, you will be the reason for some others death. And these others can be from your close one or our lovely nature. Smoking should be identified more than the suicidal attempt as it destroys the natural system of the human body. It is more suicide because if a smoker not only kills oneself but also tries to kill nature.
